Pumping Systems II: Efficient Flow Control
The purpose of this course is to examine the chief factors that impact the
efficiency of pumping systems. Pumping systems commonly have a wide range of flow needs.
Since flow may have to be increased or decreased depending on demand, flow control is
essential to system performance. This class will examine the various flow control methods
generally found in pumping systems today. We also cover the effects of impeller trimming, piping
configurations, and oversized pumps.
